About Jasmine
Jasmine L. Harris is the Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at RISE, where she leads efforts to address criminal justice reform. With a Master of Public Health from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and extensive community involvement, Jasmine has been a driving force in promoting policy changes in Nebraska. Her advocacy includes helping pass major legislation like the Nebraska Justice Reinvestment Initiative (LB50) and restoring voting rights through LB20. Jasmine’s dedication has earned her numerous awards, including the Urban League African American Leadership Award (2024), and she continues to serve through key leadership roles in her community.
